Community for adults

G1

We celebrate church service at Fredheim Arena Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
Parallel to the service in the amphitheater, the children celebrate their worship service in Awana Children's Church. After the service, we have an open cafe in the foyer, where we hope you will make some new acquaintances.

4G

On a few Sundays each semester we will facilitate generational worship services, where all generations are together throughout the service. We call these collections 4G.

In addition to the services, we offer house churches and other life-related communities at various times, which are intended to serve as a complement to the worship service.
You are warmly welcome to our church services!

Lifelong communities

As a church, we want a community that goes deeper. Making people disciples is our mission! Lifelong fellowship is an offering of equipping us to live out what we believe in in our daily lives. Lifelong fellowship is suitable for everyone, whether you are old, young, believing or doubting.

The communions are just as important to the assembly as the Sunday service. They constitute an inalienable point of impact in a hectic week; a time when we want to draw closer to God.
Community values:
  • Lifelike: “We share our lives with each other and let God go.
  • Mission: “Common cause of heart gives common direction”
  • Sharing: “Healthy cells divide”
We have both cell groups and house churches for family, youth, couples, women and men.

Young Adults

This is a group of people from 3.vgs and up to about 30 years old.
We meet every other Thursday at 7pm for teaching and fellowship.
In addition, we have social evenings that are advertised on our facebook group.
There is also the possibility of joining smaller house communities if one wishes.

Exceptional Adults

The “Outstanding Adults” offer is an offer for people who live alone, and the program is mainly adapted to the 30-50 age group.

Primarily, the collections will be added on Saturday nights.

This is an offer we have about every two months, beyond the usual meeting points in the parishes such as church services etc. The meeting point is posted on Fredheim Arena's calendar, and facebook feed as it approaches.

If you want to know more, please contact Dagny Frøyland.

Ladies read the Bible

Every Monday at 10-12 we gather in Nystua for Bibelleaing. The number of participants ranges from 4-15. Average is 11 pcs.

“Ladies read the Bible” is an open-ended measure, and everyone is welcome. The purpose of the meetings, is to gain more knowledge in the Bible. We know that in good adulthood, we long for more Bible knowledge and that is why this initiative was started in February 2017.

We believe that when the Word is read aloud, at the same time as we read in our own Bible, it has a great meaning. Then we talk, wonder and think together. And then trying to figure out what this might mean for us today.

Listening -- Reading -- Doing.

The management of the Mondays is divided among several. Serving is coffee/tea+++

Service

At Fredheim, we aim for the various ministry groups in the congregation to function as close communities where life is shared, and where elements of the Bible and prayer are both natural and common.

In a family, everyone has a meaning, and so is the case in the church. IN 1. Cor 12 compares the church to the body of Christ, where each individual limb is of infinite importance to the functionality of the body. Without a limb, the body does not function properly. We therefore believe God has given each of us special gifts to contribute to the community and the church.

Service is what happens when you get to use the gift God has endowed you with. In this way, we believe both the community and we as Christians grow through serving one another, because that is how God intended the church, and together we practice the universal priesthood.

Would you like to serve with your gift? Wondering what gift you are endowed with? Contact us and we hope to be able to help you!

Become a member

At Fredheim, the members, at the annual meeting, constitute the highest organ of the Assembly in all matters relating to the life and work of the Assembly.
Therefore, it is natural that there are some prerequisites for becoming a member, and through it being able to lead the Assembly.

Some of the basic prerequisites for membership are as follows:
  • Persons who have been baptized and who have reached the age of 15 may apply for membership in the Assembly.
  • Membership presupposes a personal Christian confession, and that one with it acknowledge Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord.
  • Membership requires payment of fixed annual dues
  • New members are admitted after personal conversation and are committed on the Assembly's vision.
  • Members are expected to align their lives according to the Word of God and the values that characterize the congregation.
Thank you very much!
